How to reset password through multiple levels of RDP
When in a nested Remote Desktop Session, using the regular CTRL-ALT-DEL, or CTRL-ALT-END hotkeys only brings up the respective menus of the host machine, or the outer layer of RDP.
To reach the password change menu of the inner RDP, use the on screen keyboard of the inner machine, and try using that to hit CTRL-ALT-END.
Steps:
- Run osk.exe
- Hit the CTRL ALT and END keys.
- If the previous didn't work, try holding the CTRL and ALT buttons on the phisical keyboard, and pressing the END key on the inner RDP machine.
